A pool smell in the shower and a chemical taste at the tap come from chlorine or chloramine added by the water utility. Clean Water carbon filtration removes it at every faucet and shower. A rotten-egg smell is hydrogen sulfide, usually from a private well — carbon handles a mild sulfur smell, and strong well-water sulfur may need a dedicated sulfur filter added, which we'll price with your quote. Carbon does not soften water.
Soap scum that won't scrub off, crusty faucets, spotty dishes, and dry, itchy skin are hard water. Soft Water removes the minerals that cause them. A softener does not remove chlorine.
Drinking Water RO purifies the water you drink and cook with at its own kitchen faucet — so you can ditch the plastic water bottles. It only treats that one tap.
